Terms & Conditions

These terms are between you and Last choice ("we", "us"), the operator of LAST CHOICE at lastchoicegame.live.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or continuing to use the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the game. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.

2. What we provide

LAST CHOICE is an online story game you can play alone or in a room with 2–8 players. The story The Crash is free. A one-time payment unlocks the additional stories on your account. We may add, change or retire stories, features and game content over time.

3. Your account

Give accurate details and keep them up to date. Keep your password and sign-in details private — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Fair use

You must not:

  • use the game for anything unlawful, or to break someone else's rights;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or harass or abuse other players;
  • copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the game or its content;
  • interfere with security or reliability — no malware, probing, scraping, automated access, or getting around limits such as story locks, room limits or scoring;
  • post content that is illegal, hateful or infringes anyone's intellectual property.

We may remove content and restrict features to keep the game safe and fair for everyone.

5. Ownership and licence

We own the game and everything in it — the software, stories, artwork, text, branding and documentation — or we licence it from others. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play the game for your personal enjoyment within the access you have. Names you enter, such as your player and group name, remain yours; you allow us to store and display them so the game and the leaderboards can work. If you believe content in the game infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeat infringement leads to account closure.

6. Service availability

We work hard to keep the game running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Maintenance, updates and problems outside our control can interrupt play. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

7. Payments

The one-time unlock costs $10 (US dollars). It is a single payment, not a subscription, and it does not renew. Applicable sales tax or VAT is shown at checkout. Pricing details are on our Pricing page.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy — a 14-day money-back guarantee.

8. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if payment fails or is reversed, or if there is a security or fraud risk. You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time. When access ends, unlocked stories, saved games and scores linked to your account may be removed.

9. Other terms

You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale of the business. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms — if the changes matter, we will make that clear in the game. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms, or about your order, can be sent to us through the contact details in your receipt email, or to Paddle at paddle.net for anything payment related.
